The Forest Pedagogic objectives are: Provide outdoor extra-curricular activities based on sensory experiences, verification and illustration; Arouse the curiosity, of young people, for the forest ecosystem and create a feeling of enthusiasm and interest for its sustainability and conservation; Motivate school students to participate actively in the forest and raise awareness for the problems of the Portuguese forests; Foment principles and values of respect for the forest ecosystem through ecological and social awareness; Confront young people with environmental problems, by encouraging them to intervene in a civic, responsible and critique way. Target Groups: Children at school age (5 till 18)
