  In many countries specific forest pedagogy programs and activities are carried out in order to increase awareness of the positive role of sustainably managed forests for people and society as well as to contribute to education for sustaibanble development.

  In order to gain an overview on ongoing activities in the countries of the ECE region the FCN-Subgroup-Forest Pedagogics has prepared a questionnaire which was so far filled by 19 countries – Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom
